Tyler SP / Tyler Texas - Adventures Of Texas State Parks / Trekking Texas 80 Plus

   Heading up Highway 14 to get into Tyler SP " my home Park " is always a nice drive in the country. I visit this park often to get my kayak out and get out on the Mountain Bike trails.

  Starting ADOTSP / Trekking Texas 80 on Valentines Day so I decided to include my wife and daughter. I went out to the park a few hours early to get some photos in and check in on the cabin before the family was able to come out. When I got to the park there was a small line trying to check in but it went pretty fast and smooth. 

    Tyler State Park reminds me of growing up and camping back home with the rolling hills around the lake. I have always had very friendly reactions coming out here. Even with Tyler SP being so close to home I feel that I'm out far enough in nature that piece and quiet comes natural.

Adventures Of Texas State Parks / Trekking Texas 80 Plus

    I have decided to start photographing and documenting all the state parks in Texas. My goal is to have this complete in 2 years. I started gathering / ordering  items Needed and figuring out what I already have.
   When I started this project I did not realize how many state parks were here in Texas but I am up for the challenge to meet my goal between school , family and work. I know there will be a weekend I can't get out here and there but I still think it can be completed in a 2 year time frame.
   One of my goals with this project is to get fit again even if it includes long hours of hiking, Mountain Biking , Kayaking and geocaching. Another goal is to hope to come out with a photography book showing off all the Beauty the State Parks has to offer.
  I plan to post video's from time to time of my adventures while relearning some of the boy scouts tools to keep myself safe in the woods.

Wednesday Simpson Groups First Tortoise and Hare Ride

This was a really great start and motivation to ask me to Sweep the Wednesday's No Drop Rides. 

Got to help out a Newbie to cycling and kinda show her the ropes. She did really good being new to this.

New Mac

After my MacBook Pro crashed on me last semester I finally got a new MacBook today. I will be up half the night installing all my software and setting it up how I need it, glad o be back in business!!!
